UIBE Business School Passed the EQUIS Certification

Recently, Business School of University of International Business and Economics(UIBE) was notified by European Foundation for Management Development(EFMD) to confirm that the Business School, UIBE passed the EQUIS international certification. Thus, UIBE becomes the 12th university in Chinese Mainland that passed this certification and also the first finance and economics university in Chinese Mainland to get this certification.

The following is the list of universities certified by the EFMD in its official website.

Previously, a total of 11 universities in Chinese Mainland passed the EQUIS international certification. The universities are China Europe International Business School(CEIBS), Antai College of Economics and Management,Shanghai Jiao Tong University, School of Economics and Management, Tsinghua University, School of Management, Fudan University, Guanghua School of Management, Peking University, Lingnan (University) College, Sun Yat-sen University, School of Business, Renmin University of China, School of Management, Sun Yat-sen Business School, Sun Yat-sen University, Zhejiang University, School of Economics and Management, Tongji University, and School of Management, Xiamen University.

EQUIS is short for European Quality Improvement System. Initiated and operated by EFMD, EQUIS is an international certification system that takes the form of certification and evaluates the quality of high-level management education institutions. As an international authoritative institution, EQUIS evaluates the institutions as a whole. The certification process is very strict, including preliminary investigation, formal application, qualification research, self evaluation, international expert review and granting certification. The certification is valid for three years.
